Beginning students will be taught how to tune the guitar, read standard notation, play with a metronome as well as some basic chords; and most importantly how to play music with others. 

DURING THE HOUR 

We will spend the first part of the hour in group-instruction followed by a period where I will work with each student individually, while others practice together and help each other. It is our hope that by the end of the session, we will be playing and singing together! 

Limiting the class size to 10 students allows for the opportunity to get to know your child better as well as provide instruction that meets your child's needs. 

I believe that all children have talents and gifts to share. It's going to be so much fun!

AS STUDENTS IMPROVE

Of course, we will offer classes that continue to grow and challenge your guitar skills. Each subsequent class will build upon what was learned in the previous class. Growing and learning together are some of the best parts of moving on to the next level.

NOTE: In order for the class to run, a minimum enrollment of 3 students must be met. So if you're thinking of signing up, don't hesitate. You will be notified if the class is cancelled.
